They are active at night so the player can raid the caves the aborigines live in during the day and kill them in their sleep. The tribesmen seem to mutate due to an unknown reason. Descending down into the caves, the player finds stranger and stranger mutations.
The tribe isn’t always hostile towards the player. Sometimes the locals send patrols to the player’s camp, try to communicate with the player. During combat, the tribesmen hide behind cover, protect their wounded comrades or remove torches during the night to avoid detection.

The intertwining fates of three figures in Zemuria will be decided in this climactic chapter of The Legend of Heroes series! – Lloyd Bannings, leader of the Crossbell Police Department’s Special Support Section, finds himself fighting for his city’s freedom once again after Crossbell’s independence celebrations are interrupted by the sudden reappearance of an old threat.
– Following the events of the Great Twilight, Erebonian hero Rean Schwarzer and his students return to life at the branch campus. However, this fleeting peace is disturbed by the emergence of a new threat.
– When the former governor general of Crossbell suddenly returns and lays claim to the city state, four figures carry out a secret mission to investigate his actions. Will is injured, and Astrid is missing, presumably lost somewhere in the wilderness. Your goal is to survive and to rescue your companion. Wintermute follows a linear plot and only allows you to explore a limited area. However, it is recommended to start with, since it serves as a sort of tutorial to the open-world sandbox mode. This is the most popular mode, in which you are not confined to the plot and can discover new areas.
