    ###Gameplay
    Le gameplay de Super Mario Odyssey s'inspire de Super Mario 64 et Super Mario Sunshine. Le jeu se compose de 17 niveaux (appelés "royaumes"). Dans la plupart d'entre eux, votre objectif est de collecter un certain nombre de lunes de puissance. En collectant suffisamment de lunes, le joueur peut passer au royaume suivant. Certaines lunes peuvent être trouvées à différents endroits du niveau ou être obtenues en récompense de certaines tâches ou défis.
